Many moons ago, I met a Raven atop Buachaille Etive Mòr.
But nothing is ever coincidence.
What I couldn’t know then was that our meeting was to be a portent.
The Raven denotes rebirth, renewal, recovery and healing. It symbolizes moving through transition by casting light into the darkness.
This is he and my homage to him.
This design is an eco-print created using the alchemy of my cauldron and leaves from the Sycamores here at An Taigh Dubh. The layered papers are placed in the brew and boiled for many hours. I then wait to see what magic Mother Nature will reveal of herself before putting watercolour, handmade inks and natural pigments to paper.

Wow what can I say about this, that gives it justice.
The paper is absolutely glorious. I love all the beautiful colours and veins of the sycamore leaves from your land.
