To feel the burden of the brush between your fingers. The unpredictability of ink and the fluidity of watercolour as it marries with the weight of water.
I consider myself an intuitive artist. Thus eco-printing and hand crafting my materials appeals to my inquisitive nature.
It is no coincidence (there’s no such thing) I ended up living in a forest. Such is the landscape here at An Taigh Dubh, she offers me myriad opportunities to forage for my art.
This is the first eco-print I created using my cauldron. I then painted directly on to the paper.
This is home, my Earthskin.
