Baba Yaga’s Spring

Shaking off the last of Winter’s blight, snowdrops neath naked trees, as Spring brings forth a carpet of white faery lights.

The wee hoosie is influenced by my own soon to be cabin in the woods. 

Inspired by the Slavic folk lore of the oft maligned and misunderstood, Baba Yaga.

I reckon she wasn’t what was said of her, as is often the case with Witches.

Instead, this forest dwelling witch just wanted to get away from it all and live by her own magickal terms rather than obey those of the mundane and corrupt.
